Our Crepe de Chine is one of the most delicate and versatile fabrics in our portfolio.
A lightweight material with a very delicate matt-sheen surface, this flat woven fabric is ideally suited to creating scarves and other apparel. Crepe de Chine has an excellent handle allowing it to drape very easily.
Its flat, semi-transparent surface lends itself exceptionally well to our digital printing techniques, and its high quality fabric base means that vivid and bright colours are easily achievable. The Crepe de Chine gives a slightly double-sided effect when printed on.
This fabric is ideal for use in producing blouses, tops, dresses and scarves, and it is also easy to cut and sew, allowing it to be manipulated into pattern pieces. The Crepe de Chine is also ideally suited for use as a base for sarongs and headscarves, as well as many other fashion items.
