Linen Weight

Our linen is a fantastic and popular textile for furnishing and apparel applications.

The linen weight synthetic fabric is very similar in appearance to a natural linen fabric due to its slubbed textured surface. Its clean, white colour lends well to print, achieving a maximum colour space which allows tremendous freedom in design.

These qualities paired with the fabric’s weight of 280 gsm make it very well suited for use in soft furnishings and medium weight apparel products.

Our linen’s usable width is 140cm, which is ideal for the majority of apparel and furnishing designs, offering economical cutting plans. Once printed, the combination of appropriate dyestuff and high quality fabric achieves excellent fastness levels, attaining general high street store requirements.

Washing fastness typically attains a rating of 4 – 5 (5 being the maximum rating – ISO EN 195C02), while the light fastness typically rates an excellent 6 (8 being the maximum rating – ISO EN 105B02).
