Commission Textile Printing
In addition to the range of in house stock fabrics we also offer a commission print service to customers who have particular fabric requirements. Fabric stock is either supplied prior to each order or stored within our warehouse in advance for call off against future orders. Fabrics are held on a consignment basis and remain the customers property at all times, stock will be stored appropriately and be available for inspection should the customer wish.
Two areas of considerations to exam prior to agreeing to a commission printing arrangement are:
- Technical – are we able to process the fabric in question to the desired quality, in all instances we test all new fabrics against known criteria before accepting them.
- Commercial – is there sufficient volume to justify initial set up, (one production run or many ongoing smaller runs) to ensure our customers get the right value from the arrangement.
Once we’ve worked through the details of these areas in partnership with our customers we can decide together whether the commission textile printing route is the correct option, on many occasions the answer is yes. These projects then offer the customer a tailored solution to processing their own fabric via a highly flexible just in time production route with all the associated advantages. Greige fabric is printed against actual short term demand rather than more risky longer term forecasts.
However if this model doesn’t fit then we have the stock fabrics to fall back on, the range is quite comprehensive and as such often offer suitable alternative solutions without to much compromise.

Dispatch is within 15 – 20 working days of artwork approval, although exact dates are confirmed at the time of order as manufacturing times can vary with seasonal fluctuations.
